Presenting the Gryffindor Bravehearts team mascot!

Our cute mascot was drawn by Lianne based on Prof. Abbey’s original Gryffindor House mascot design. Her drawing was colored and integrated by Prof. Abbey into the logo you see above.

Our Lion looks ready to win the Quidditch Cup, but there’s a slight problem… it seems he doesn’t have a name yet.

If you’re a Gryffindor, then join the contest! Students will earn 5 House Points per entry. The winner gets a small token from Prof. Sky and 300 virtual galleons. Each Lion can only submit a maximum of 4 entries.

Albus Dumbledore Memorial Day and OBHWF Day

We’re celebrating 3 things this coming July 16th:
1. New Worlds 4: A Broken Time Machine – The 4th Philippine Science Fiction and Fantasy Convention,
2. along with the international HP fandom — OBHWF (One Big Happy Weasley Family) Day, and
3. our own Hogwarts Philippines Albus Dumbledore Memorial Day.

During New Worlds 4, at 2pm at the convention’s Activity Area, PHP will be celebrating the life and times of one of the greatest wizards of all time — Albus Dumbledore. We’ll kick off our Tribute with a talk entitled “Alas! Ear wax!: Remembering the Supreme Mugwump” by the Auror Extraordinaire, Prof. Frances Sangil. We will also be having a short public forum/Q&A, and we’ll be announcing the winners of the Dumbledore Tribute Socks Design Contest.

So come join PHP as we bid the good Headmaster farewell, and good luck on his next great adventure. If you’re not joining the Tribute Socks Design Contest, please make sure you bring a comfy pair of socks anyway, as a sign of affection and respect.

Ang salitang “duwag” ay wala sa aking bokabularyo

Subukan mong gawin at matitikman mong lupit ng mahika ko

Kung kaibigan ang pag-uusapan, ako’y namber wan
Tunay na tapat at laging maaasahan
Kung talino man, aba, di ako pahuhuli diyan
